1. How do I access resources provided by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG)?

The registration of individual users for national license products takes place in several steps, some of which are carried out online on the Internet, but some of which require written form and are processed by post. The main steps up to activation are:

  1. Click here to register as a private user by entering your address data and the desired products. You have to accept the terms of use of each selected product.
  2. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you provided with a confirmation link. The registration process will only continue if you click on this link.
  3. A letter with your access data (ID and password) will be sent to the address you provided. After receiving the letter, you can immediately access the selected products.
  4. If you want to select other national license products at a later point in time or if your address changes, you can log in to the user administration with your access data and make the desired changes.
If you first want to get an overview of the available products or are looking for detailed product descriptions, please follow the link to the complete list of national license offers.
